Description
Sneakin in for an update. It rained. Hard n' long.
My house partially flooded. But the one supposed to fix the roof, what? 2 months ago? Hasn't even called to see if I drown. & he only lives down the street.
No lights, they are soaked, the wires wet. No heat, freezing temps & then we had snow, cause no lights. I busted arse til 1:30 in the morning trying to cover stuff & save what I could. Then I just gave up & moved myself & the dogs into the store room with all my blankets & slept on the concrete floor cause it looked like the wet dry wall ceiling was about to cave in.
I am NOT a happy dragon!
I've been without electricity for days & couldn't stand it anymore, so I moved my pc, satellite internet junk and paraphernalia into the store room & spent forever getting it set up on high grade extension cords leading to the bathroom. It has its own breaker box & the roof held on that side. I also have heat now.
& I went through all this by myself cause nobody gave a rats ass to help. They were all warm & cozy at home.
I'm changing my phone number...
Oh, btw. All my mail, including the e bots, are gone, too. So I'll have a hell of a time trying to catch up.
I missed my 'real' friends here.

Oh Angel, I'm so sorry to hear all this bad luck is hitting you, especially right now while you're health is not 100%. You're in my prayers my friend, I wish I could do more, but I do send warm hugs and I hope you get things straightened out soon. Beautiful image, excellent posing and lighting. I'm glad to hear you at least have heat and computer now. I'm sure you're already on this, but I think I'd look for a new repair man, what a jerk!

I knew something was up.. I was going to write you a note tonight to see. I am so sad to hear that the rain chants wore off, and the house flooded. Perhaps the home owners will pick it up, I hope (for you, my friend). Were that I lived closer, and I'm sure others feel the same way. We'd be having a roofing party for you. I'm sure we have more than a few who can wield a hammer. My prayer now is that someone good comes along to fix the roof and restore a bit of sanity to your little corner of the universe! I love the image, beautiful scape, the sunset, the pose. She looks so dangerous and very like a dragon!

What a pain that the "repairman" hadn't been to see you, wish I lived closer and I could have come and help sort it out for you.. Now sounds like it is more than just roof repairs.. i dont know what to say angel,i am very sorry to read this and the smile really vanished from my face. the year 2011 is not even 2 months old and you had already major problems twice,with the health and the roof earlier, and now this. and the c..k-face down the road has a very nice way of behaving. it does not surprises me that the world is going down the drain nobody gives a shat for nobody. i wish i could fly one of my steam airships and get to you.

So sorry to hear what has been going on with you Angel. I hope someone thinks to give you a hand with your situation. I know how difficult this is for you as we have the same problems. Not sure whatever happened to the idea of "Help your neighbour" especially a woman alone that needs help. We will pray things improve for you.

OMG Angel im so sorry to hear your news i wish i could do something for you and as for the repairman he wants hanging i bet he would of come if you owed him money im preying things get better for you and the people in the street where you live should be ashamed of there selves letting a lady alone deal with all this and leaving you to fend for yourself whats happening to this world where's love thy neighbour gone... and i agree your anger shows in your image superb work Angel !!

Can only offer you this ENORMOUS HUG of warmth for comfort...Trust in what i say that if i was your neighbor your roof would not be an issue...(smiles)...It's a comfort to know your not throwing in the towel...hang in there dear...Wishing I could help with your situation as no one person should have to go through all of that Sh.......Stuff....(smiles)...At least you still have your art through all of this to still share with all of us here...

Where in God's name do you live? I'm so sorry you are going through this all alone. That really sucks. You are one heck of a strong lady to manage all that you have by yourself. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. It appears that art is good therapy .. so expressing your anger through your work is a good thing. This is one very cool angry image! I hope that by now, things are on the way to normalcy, and that the roof is fixed, mess from the flood is cleared, and that some friends close to home have finally come through for you. As someone else said .. it's too bad we don't all live closer to each other.
