Description

Back to my trusty Western view. We've had a few awesome sunsets so far this year. I used some filters on this one to see what they'd do. I used a Circular Polarizing and ND 4 on this shot. Then I took it to The Gimp, resized,used an unsharp mask then framed it. I was considering rotating it just a small fraction to the right, but I decided to go with the original. What do you think? Oh, and the shine near the bottom is on the railroad tracks. My previous upload, "Bordello Red". I have more Valentine photo's, but I can only look at red for so long.. lol. Just kidding, I had to share yesterday's sunset. I think I am off to the park to see what I can get in to :P Have a great Monday! Hugs, ~Melinda~

Splendid in its POV, color, contrast and postwork, Melinda! But just what is The Gimp vis-a-vis the arena of photography? I do know it's something I get when my sciatica flares up.
