Description

I wanted to call this "Dead End". I changed to "Rouge Baiser" which was a famous lipstick brand my mother used a very long time ago. I made this picture because I think I've lost my track, picturewise. I need to refocus and maybe a break would do me good. Nevertheless, I'll be there with you and your pictures. Have a great time, be good! From Odile With love.

What a cool change in your imagery, Odile! I love the graphic style in this portrait, where the lipstick plays the main role... That little story behind the title of this picture really enchanted me, maybe I will do some render inspired by my mother's favorite perfume... :) Hugs, Vashek

Hi Odile: Did you ever do any graphics work? Way, way back, there was a high-contrast sheet film called Kodalith that created an effect very much like what you have here -- without the Baiser Rouge, of course. Anyway, I don't see this as a dead end. A punctation point, perhaps, signifying a brief pause. But far, far from a dead end. Take care, --jim

Odile, this is really great, love the black/white the splash of red. I know how it is to need to refocus.. go watch some films.. take some walks.. read some books. You'll find your muse tapping your shoulder again with ideas. :) hugs Delaney

Jolie image (photo-manipulation ?) ... DAGrant t'a donné de très bon conseils ... il faut parfois faire une coupure et de ne pas se focaliser sur la création, sinon la source risque de se tarir ou l'intérêt s'amenuiser ... Enjoy that break ! ;-)
