Description
A million years ago I started working on a comic book that got shelved after my writer went AWOL. I recently discovered my old character sheets for the book and thought I'd have a play with Poser's toon rendering to try and get some use out of my old characters. Naturally I started with our protagonist Natassja Keen. As you can no doubt tell, she's one tough cookie :)
I'm pretty happy with the result. There was a LOT of mucking around with toon nodes and lights to get it to look how I wanted (who would've thought lighting for toons would be so damn complicated). There are three main lights for the scene (all infinite) top left key light, bottom left fill light and top right specular. A 4th light (spotlight) is only aimed at the car as a specular light to get that really cool specular on it.
tl;dr my first toon render, it was hard
