Description

apo/3d hack Thanks for browsing. Any and all comments are greatly appreciated. These purple flowers are beautiful to look at, but have become a serious problem thru western canada. It is a very noxious weed, that is quickly choking out a lot of the native vegetation. The government has eradication programs in place but so far it is a loosing battle. They are still pretty though.

Gorgeous image Glenda, and the likeness to purple loosestrife is amazing. You are right about the problems this plant is causing. It all started because some gardners planted it in the ditches along roadsides. Now it is threatening not only vegetation but wild life. As it is choking out vegetation it is causing food shortages for many of the critters that normally eat the plants that have been desimated. It is strange that something that looks so beautiful can be so dangerous. lol reminds me of a beautiful woman that has a gun. people are so blinded by her beauty they dont notice she is dangerous. :) (not that I would ever notice if another woman is beautiful, afterall, I'm a married man) :)

We have a similar plant here that is called "stink weed"...It too is an evasive flower/weed that is sooooo pretty but the smell it gives off would choke a horse....lol..This maybe an invasive plant but at least it's pretty in appearance considering the insects that are starting to thrive now that once did not...The Emerald Ash Borer wasn't even a subject here in Wisconsin 5 years ago and now they are devastating a lot of our Northern Woods... You Created a Beautiful Fractal Above...Nice!

Very pretty, super Apo work. i think all areas have some type of Invasive species that does more harm than good, here in TX it's Giant Salvinia from Brazil, that stuff can choke out a Lake in a matter of Months if not controled. Peace

The hue is a bit different, but you really do have a fractal loose strife there. Perfect title and lovely palette.

Giggling ha ha at Jim's comment... LOL look but don't touch is what I say. :) GLAD to see you are feeling a little better. Watch what you eat.. remember the Pain. That is what I told my son, he was in the hospital for that. It has been awhile. The other day I reminded him watch what you eat... LOL and I don't mean just watch it going in your mouth. Gotta ya Mom... :) Yes this purple is very pretty and the resemblance too. But invasive plants pretty or not are bad.
