Description

I am standing, at the railing, on the stern of the Carnival Miracle cruise ship. We were in the eastern side of the Caribbean and surrounded by billions of billions, of gallons of water and there is a long line to use the water slide, on the 11th deck of the ship. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated. Dana

That looks like fun. My parents used to take cruises, but for me, being off land for a week would be horrible. I need to be around my animals and flowers!

GREAT shot, dana! .... (DUMB TallPockets has always wondered WHY folks take a CRUISE ship and then SWIM in it's ONBOARD pool? ... There's an OCEAN of WATER nearby! ... WINK. "Water, water, everywhere and NOR a drop to drink" (Samuel Taylor Coleridge: Rhyme Of The Ancient Mariner). My BEST to you and yours, KIND SOUL.

Hmmmmmmm. A water slide on a ship? I'm still trying to get my brain around that. In the thumbnail I thought it was some kind of alien lifeform. or maybe a very groovy 21st Century water filtration plant. Hmmmmmmm . A water slide on a ship? Still trying to get my brain around that. The ship must be the size of the Eastern Seaboard. Great shot and hope you're having fun!

Water, water, everywhere...and a slide, way up there! I love this. A water slide on a boat surrounded by water; isn't that a bit like opening a "sand bar" in the middle of a desert? Now, as for this loopy wonder, I have to say that it looks deliciously high tech, like it accelerates positrons or something! I rather like that nice, cream-mint color, and I can imagine that your cruise was a fun one! I like this shot a lot.
