Description

Well here's my jewellery to date. The CelticBracelet was done much earlier(back during the chair contest, anyone remember contests?),but all the rest grew out of my search for Opal texture(not included in this render)and continued as i went on a rampage of experimentation I put the group render in to give a sense of scale ...enjoy....comments...tips...feel free...in fact ....be free peace

This is so georgous that I think I gonna live Mars for a moment and make some jewels too. Maybe you could improve by changing the table, instead of wood, try a plain black table for example, anyway, that deserves to be in the IM-hot20.

The jewels are absolutely beautiful, very nice work. Tho still something, have you used different antialiasing settings with the different pictures? The diamond looks very good, but the ring with three stones might look even better with both better and ordinary antialiasing set higher ;)

High praise coming from you sir...thanx very much,re: AA....I tend t use the default setting unless it's more than a WIP cuz i gots me a very old slowpoke computer...think the difference you see is i was playin round with both Resolve Depth, in the render, and Filter Distance in attribute settings, but as I'm a shitty scientist i didn't keep notes...sigh...also they were resized in photoshop with total dis regard for resolution so that may make some diff too...I'll post the originals later but they're all .png's and i got other fish to fry right now, keep yer eyes peeled for em...
