Description

An update: Colour scheme has changed and there's grass now instead of dirt. May offer both options though. Still lots to do though. Most of the modeling is done, the bulk is texture work. Working on fining out the skids in the corners and such, gravel traps, alphas for the terrain so I can mix textures and set up ecosystems. These pics show part of the strait away. It's roughly 800 meters long. This is indeed a full track, no bits and pieces. Place your camera where you want it, throw some cars in and render. There's a parking lot, access road with bridge over the track, tents, bleachers, grand stands, paddock, control tower, etc. No trailers or anything. I'm still debating if I want to add trailers. Still would like to add a couple camera cranes, but don't know if that's worth it. Anyways, thanks for looking.

Very impressive indeed! If I may put forward an opinion here, having read some of your comments? I'd say that you could never have too much detail available for this, any amount of detail would be worth it, IMO. The thing is, I think it would be a good idea to make this accessible to whoever wants it. If you put too much detail on it out of the box, some people may not be able to work with it. I'm not 100% clued up on how most things work, like this, but if there's all that stuff in a scene at once, it can get extremely laggy. Excellent work though, please keep us posted, I'm very excited for this! :D
