Description
An illustration of the second "page" of the Three Sillies. Here the daughter has gone downstairs to get cider for dinner when she notices a mallet stuck in the ceiling. From here she dreams up a situation where years in the future her son or daughter is in the basement fetching cider and is killed when the mallet falls loose. This causes her to sit down and sob uncontrollably...
