Description
Today would have been my dads 80th birthday... This photo shows two of the things he had such a love for fishing and my mom, not necessarily in that order. lol In the photo of him fishing, he is the one on the right, showing off his catches for the day, the man on the left is his best friend of over 40 years Carl, and I consider him to be my second dad, what a lucky girl I was to have such two wonderful men in my life that I admired and loved and I miss them both so much.
Happy Birthday Dad I am baking you a cake..
also Happy Birthday to Elizabeth Taylor they share the same birthday. I always loved her too. :)
Thanks for all your comments and guesses on my last photo, I will be posting the last one for the letter Z in a few days. Have a great night. Happy Oscar night....
Y is for You for Jocko500 and all of you..

This photo is not the greatest quality, but it has hung on my refrigerator for the past almost two years since my dad passed away and it has gotten me through my sad days, I always find a reason to smile when I see it.

Wonderful tribute to your dad. My wife still has days where she misses her dad that way even though its been about 10 years. Your dad looks really happy in this image and the small one with him and your mom is gorgeous.

What fond and loving memories those are of your dad and his friend. And how sweet of you to honor them both in such a way as this. Your efforts and commitment will not go unrewarded and you will be blessed in all you do!

What a fine dedi...for your dad and best friend Carl. As for poor Liz...saw her situation blabbed all over the front of the Enquirer...row over where she is to be buried... (always very entertaining standing in a grocery store line).

This is such a touching collage and dedi Lynell, you really got me all misty here. Your Dad sounds like a wonderful man to have made such an impression on his little girl. I'm sorry for your loss
