Description

Twas my last weekend living in Florida...So last night I had to say goodbye to the Roosevelt Bridge...It was like saying goodbye to an old friend... I grabbed the passion for photography here on Renderosity in 2008...I started here by posting my artwork then saw all your wonder photos and thought ...I wanna do that!..I can not thank you all enough for sticking with me thru the years..inspiring with your photography and always giving me support...My photographic journey is all right here on Renderosity. As many know I love night shots...I remember how excited I was to have gotten my first night shot and it was of this bridge...with my lil Kodak P&S that had a rubberband holding in the batteries...handholding...I was so excited check it out...HAHA all crooked and outta focus but you all encouraged me...gotta love it...The first shot is on page 12 of this gallery called "Woohoo Nightscape". Parting with my bridge was sad but hope I did it justice because I practiced on this bridge and learned a lot...parting is such sweet sorrow....Moving back home to the mountains of Colorado.

I think this is the most beautiful capture you've done of this bridge. It's absolutely luminous and magical. You'll find new passions in the new home, and we'll all be here to share them with you!

Compelling and sensational image! I do admire this capture, in the dark! It makes for a stunning and ever so magnificent contrast! This would be a real delight to check out in person!

Beautiful image, I love the repetition of the lights and the gentle curve of the bridge. Beautiful.

You always showed a good eye for composition even though the focus issues you complain about can easily be blamed on the hardware. LOL! I'll miss your local postings. I never got around to replacing my own gear after hurricanes, Frances and Jeanne and later Wilma messed-up everything. You neglected to say where your moving on to, but where ever it is; I wish you the best of luck in all your future endeavors!

I have thoroughly enjoyed your bridge, and your night shots in general. Florida has been good to you as a photographer, and I know you'll find things to show us after you've moved back home and settled in. I'm looking forward to seeing Colorado!
