Ha! Had no idea of a decent title today...... either :) But I hope you like this little piece of a long gone summerday. Have a beautiful and creative week. This morning is Calm, no wind. grey and still around the freezing point. For me this is the time when I lived in Skåne (southest part of Sweden) I don't saw so many thistels but poppis in thousends in the fields. Wonderful reminder!

Chicago's weather is having something of a bipolar event right now, and so it'll be a while before I can see thistles growing around here. Pity. But I can see them in your gallery and they're gorgeous and graceful, and I love their color against the warm color of the background with those red splashes of blooming flowers of a different species. This is really fantastic. So warm! This is a wonderful promise of spring arriving.

Oh Helle, I just love this! The poppies and the grasses and that lovely thistle together ... I can hear bugs chirping and feel the relaxed, warm weather of a sunny day. Ahhhhhhh ... beautiful!
