Description

MB3D / PSP Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are always welcome and appreciated. Today's image is number 200 for my gallery. These city gates incorporate a brand new technology. As you see there is no personel guarding the entrance any more. What now happens is anyone that lives and belongs inside the city has a micro chip inserted under the skin that has all thier personal identification imbedded into it. If they are entering the city there are scanners that read their info and let them thru easily. If someone without the right micro chip attempts to pass thru these gates they are instantly incinerated. Even on a bus full of people if there was someone not properly documented they would be destroyed while others all around them remain safe. This new technology has eliminated the need to post armed guards at the city gates. It certainly would cut down on suprize visits from the in-laws. :) If there are visitors coming to the city that do not have the microchip they are able to go instead to the much smaller gate that is heavily manned with armed guards to present thier credentials and obtain a temporary pass. Have a great Monday Jim PS this image is tweaked out of Len's image posted yesterday titled Plain and Simple. This one really is an epic idea brought to life Jim, and your description of trying to gain entrance to the city was great. The funny thing is one day it may be pretty close to this for some of us

Hey, the world may be heading that way, you may not be able to leave your domicile without a Hall Pass soon. Super tweaks man, removing the tiling and adding foldings completely changes things. Peace

Outstanding. The place looks a little to quiet, I'm waiting for someone to jump out from behind one of the columns, grab you and take you off to oblivion.

A wonderful work and a great idea to keep people out of the city. I wonder if it is expensive to install and if not, it would be handy here, to keep all the riffraff from coming to the door.lol. Fabulous fractal work.

That is grim, my friend, very grim indeed. Even Orwell didn't take it that far. Have you been through airport security full body scans lately? It is basically your scenario in the offing. The only reason we don't have your Kafkaesque metropolis in place now is that we still lack the processing bandwidth. But the time will come when we do. There is this, though; the Vogons would love the place. On the other hand, however, your image is outstanding. I thought at first we were being treated to an new Incendia image. I love the pillar and archway effect. It really does create the impression of a very daunting edifice indeed. Great color contrasts too. Beautiful work, Jim!
