~Kingdom Come Flash features in the else world Kingdom Come (dc comics). Set in an alternate time line, where Superman has retired from being a superhero due to the new meta-human methods of justice being more favored, nearly all of the older heroes, like Flash, have lost their credibility. The Spectre shows Norman McCay Key Stone City, which he describes as an utopia where a scarlet blur protects he streets from all crime no matter how petty. This version of Flash is constantly moving and only ever seen as a blur of red with the trade mark World War II style helmet Jay Garrick used to sport, although a name is never put on the Flash so It is impossible to know who it is. Like several other heroes, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Flash has become almost maddened on his quest for justice thus forcing him into his constant state of movement, Spectre describes him saying,"He lives between the ticks of a second. He is the Flash" Another use of this constant speed is that countless strata of reality are open to him. This allowed him to reach through Spectre's powers and pull McCay into their dimension allowing them to see him. A girl is also seen sporting the Kid Flash costume, presumable Iris West (as it is said she is Wally West's daughter), which may indicate the Flash being Wally West. She is part of Batman's small faction group determined to give control back to humanity. ~ hey gang, hope things are going well for you out there.it's finally getting warmer here yaaay!and things are going well so far. this is my original idea for a flash image.i've done a few before but nothing to this scale.i was thinking 'i need to try something way different,time to dig deep'. big nod to mr alex ross and his incredible talents.i have to admit i almost always consult his works when i design superhero art because of his ultra unique artistic visions.he's created some of the most fabtastic comic art on the planet including books called kingdom come (referenced above)and a compilation of sorts called mythology.what i found so amazing was how he envisions characters down to it's creators designs,adds individual characteristics and personality,and combines all of that to recreate them to the point that you can feel the power eminating from them.i'd almost swear at times somewhere out there there's an earth where they live and adventure from the way he portrays them lol! one of his ideas in kingdom come was a near invisible flash that resembled hermes ,messenger to the gods of greek mytholgy.and whaaalaaa !i had my inspiration.i did have one small happy accident while i was finishing this though.what came out of that is a surprise for my next post.so for now i hope you enjoy this one. *till the dragon flies again,hugs and regards* lee
