Description

Enhancing an older design with some new techniques I was playing around with to create the "dissolving" look. Enjoy

I do enjoy this. Though the bottom half appears rigid, the lines break that with flow and balance. The core grabs the eyes and commands attention, while still yielding to the remainder of the piece. It "holds" yet also "rises". Above, the area is fluent, and the outer edges feel like standing under a liquid ceiling (when most liquids settle), while the center is appearing gaseous (which needs to rise). It's a great mix, and very exciting! :) Thanks for posting it.

CynArt... Thank you..you have tendered the most thoughtful appraisal I have ever received. I agree with you on the rigidity, it was a matter of no-choice...in actuality the bottom and top both curve outwards and toward the viewer much further, and the original resolution was greater than 4000px. The problem with the extensions is that it set the center stage back way to far, so rather than re-sizing the the original as a whole, I just cut the out the center and framed it...using the frame as a perceptual physical barrier that precludes one from seeing the whole. (if you know what i mean)! lol
