The first artist of time is God, don't you think so?
We all learn by watching each other, and I am happy to find myself involved in such an adorable and creative community as Renderosity.
My first creation media was poetry when I was 12, and I definately fell in love with music at the age of 16 when I bought my first guitar... I still enjoy playing, composing and singing when my mood affords it :)
My interest for pictural art started later on, in my early 20's. I discovered a huge universal media capable of causing immediate impact just like music... I will always remember my art teacher in university, he would not teach us how to draw but HOW TO WATCH....
I started making physical collages 3 years ago, and also enjoy the pleasure that comes out of manipulating things, people, objects, mood and texture with Photoshop and sometimes Bryce and DAZ, too.
Hope you enjoy your visiting my gallery,
Elisabeth

Very moving artwork, Elisabeth! It's an old wisdom that we do not have problems - we have lessons to learn. Wish you overcome it all soon.

I agree with Nikolai, this is quite moving. And I also agree that problems are often lessons to learn from: opportunities in disguise...they're often ugly and stinky and kinda slimy, but they're worth something. In terms of the image itself, it's quite evocative of a whole range of things, most of which seem more mysterious than anything else. There are stories in this image, well...at least one story, and that's always something intriguing as it invites a viewer to actually look at something, contemplate it, spend time with it, and do anything other than just move on to the next "pretty image." I love artwork that gives the viewer a moment of pause. This does that. It's also superbly done. It's multi-layered in all of the right ways.

Looking askance, with doubt or mistrust. A contemplative pose with the hand to the chin. Contemplating what? Provocative.
