Description

This is my effort at trying to get the hang of Vue. I am finding it so hard to learn it's just like Photoshop that took me ages to learn too!! I hope one day to be able to do a render I am happy with. Compared to Poser it takes so long to render and the quality is not what I was expecting even rendering at the highest setting. Sorry the polar bear isn't white that is the best I could get!!

Great start! The lighting is Brill! Persevere with Vue, it has a lot to offer. There are lots of video tutorials online to get that perfect scene setup. I find the render engine strikes a great balance between the slightly over-soft Poser and the over-hard 3DS Max. (just my take, i use poser for certain renders which no other can do). If you PM me i can send some links to some great sites for tutorial and some texture freebies that i use.

I think you've done really well with this Roy, the icebergs look realistic. I like the water too, it's a shame about the bear, but I'm sure you'll find out how to fix that soon :) Well done

A great start Roy! Why I'm stay with DAZ is because it is relatively simple to use and I am first of all a storyteller, not a 3D pro! ;o)
