Now I am taking baby steps here: I recall telling my 3D friends (kelvinhughes, drag, Maxine, Jocko, Richard and others) here on RR, that some day, when I am a big boy, I am also going to try my hand at 3D programs. I have made a few renders over the past few years but now I bit the bullet and made my first render of the desert I know, for upload. I had to start off working from memory, which caused me to redo it many times.
I would love to add a sidewinder snake, but I lack experience where to find good props, so please feel free to advise and write to me, even if it is just to tell me that my work sucks, lol.

OMG!!! I just knew it was a photo .. and then I read your notes!! Wow. So pretty much you don't need your camera for cool captures such as this! No more road trips for exotic scenes. Just sit down at your computer and create .. my gosh .. the endless possibilities, you can show us what the surface of Mars looks like and who lives there, and you can peer deep through the clouds of Venus ..

I thought this was a photo...Wish I could do well...and let me tell you Your image sure doesn't suck.......... Would look really nice hanging on the wall in someone's den...I have no idea on where to get props.........the sidewinder would of looked good I think but it is amazing just like it is.............. Def a fav with me.........love all the textures in the sand............
