Talking about what the governments is doing as Alice in Wonderland was a tongue in cheek story and it had nothing to do with being a children story. I just read what Australia is going to do and it is bad as it will effect around 50 million people and drive all food up around the world. Concerned citizens claim that the enormous Murray-Darling river system Food Basin, Australia’s largest, has been set up for destruction, by [an overseas elite], their stooges in Australia’s banks, and by gullible, gutless or corrupt politicians, of all persuasions, who have sold their souls to the murderous market ideology” of this elite. The banks and financial institutions are being induced to call in their loans to the Basin and, at the same time, using the Government water buyback scheme as a bailout for their banks. Compensation won’t be spent in the local communities; it goes to the banks to reduce their own debt. Not only will this shatter the Basin, its hard-working families and its extraordinary agricultural production, but all this is happening when, even according to official figures, almost one billion people around the world are chronically hungry, while another billion or so are undernourished, due to lack of adequate food. Even World Bank president Robert Zoellick stated on 15th February that the recent skyrocketing of food prices had already pushed an additional 44 million people into extreme poverty, which is closely associated with hunger. Who knows what behind all this mess??? one world government??? All i know is a lot of people is going to be hurting soon and no one will know why. To protect a few birds down under? I do not think that the real reason. But who am I? Not the Queen of Hearts that say "off with they heads." Have a good day and do not worry about the food.
