Description
Progress! Today a bus load of Red Cross officialdom (yes, I really meant to write 'officialdom') toured the worst hit suburbs of Christchurch. Mumblings of, 'We didn't realise it was so bad.'
And I didn't realise how stupid they could be. And I'm betting that by tomorrow that tiny glimmer of honesty will be covered by rationalisations and excuses. Of course I'm a bleedin' cynic! lol.
So here's to Aranui, New Brighton, and Bexley. Reaching for the basics.

Wonderful image! It is hard to believe they didnt know it was so bad. I'm on the opposite side of the world and know what a disaster it is, how could anyone not know? I think it is more a case they didnt want to admit how bad it was, not that they didnt know.

Officialdom is as good as any name for those supposed Experts in charge of any recovery process, sitting in their nicely appointed offices with all the comforts and amenities that goes along with their "officialdom" all Fat and Happy and absolutely Clueless to Reality, just want to Slap them to wake them the Hell up. Makes the Blood boil Peace Oh, very nice FE work too, excellent gradient and design

Almost reversed a treble clef, as your life, like the wounded, the debris, breaches the floor ... where there is the Red Cross, is there no policy yet? Certainly the entire West collapses ... unless the worship of money!
