Description

a path through a bomboo djungle... I have once walked a similar one in Peronella Park in Australia :) Seems I am down to one upload a week and no time for anything else :( Oh, I still hope times will change to a bit less stressy and more healthy time all around. But so far this year no luck. Well, I keep up the hope and you alway keep it up with me too by you wonderful comments :) Credits: Bamboo by Barry Marshall from Cornucopia, Materials partly by Quadspinner, Iguana model #104 from the 500 3d Objects Vol 2 by de Espona

I agree with Bigbraader that it could have been a much better render. Also, the scene looks like it's hitting you right in the face and there's almost nowhere to look past that. I think at times that we get caught up in wanting to produce these images so quickly, that we aren't really thinking quality. All we're thinking about are ratings! It's almost like having a busy body personality that keeps us from creating what's really inside of us. I do like the fact that the image does have some realism to it but in my opinion, it would have been nice to see it a bit more opened up and flowing so that the true textures would not be hidden.

i love your light, the scene, and even the little lizard in the foreground. the only weak point is the grain, and i'm guessing your lack of time for rendering contributes to that. the composition is really strong but very natural and not forced or contrived (which is rare). i hope you have more time for artwork in the future.
