Description

Leiden, a wonderful old city between Den Haag (The Hague) and Amsterdam. From this place the Pelgrimfathers left for the USA. I think they had about the same view over Leiden in those days as I had yesterday (9 march), looking down from the fort (castle), that was already ancient in their days [build 800AD] as was the gigantic Church.

Chris, this is truly a breathtaking view my friend. Once more I can't get over how perfectly your structures are preserved, and how you can enjoy the same view people did hundreds of years ago. The castle and all the surrounding buildings of this area really are a treasure

that's right, you're over there by amsterdam.... is amsterdam still a free spirit on drugs? I remember hearing years ago you could get waisted off drugs in the bars there and it was legal - Had to ask especially after the title of my last upload - lol
