My mood is always better on a Friday, this just helps the smile too...
As best I can ascertain this is a Soettuinjie or Hottentotsuintjie (Moraea fugax ssp. filicaulis). I do not have any English name for it, my book only gives the Afrikaans.
This was in a field near Darling, in the Western Cape.
