Well, I don't really believe in fortune-telling. I think this is better not to know the future.
But I wanted to create an image with an atmopshere and this idea poped out of my mind...
And you, do you believe in fortune-telling. Have a you ever had a weird experience about knowing the future.

Moi grand sorcier ! Je vois ! Je vois ! que cette belle création va avoir un grand succès (mérité...). Comme a dit un jour un collègue, faisant une belle bourde en amphi, "pas besoin de regarder dans mes boules pour..." on a oublié la suite ! je dirais, pour prévoir que tu vas avoir plein de commentaires élogieux. Autre expérience : je "collectionne" (je garde) les propositions des "Professeurs X ou Y" qui guérissent tout, font revenir l'amour, etc. la palme revenant à celui qui au bout d'une longue liste de promesses terminait pas "fait démarrer les motos russes"...Superbe, non ? Malheureusement je n'ai que le scan du journal où l'annonce figurait.

I always enjoyed the setup of Blanche Tyler and George Lumley (Barbara Harris and Bruce Dern) in the mid 70's Hitchcock classic "Family Plot" For an alternate view of -Fortune Telling / Medium- I heartily recommend it. The focused lighting and softened focus make for an excellent atmosphere as well as her expression of confidence. Nicely done.
