Description
Time is marching on (pardon the pun)time goes so quickly. When I was a youngster & used to wish it was, Christmas, birthday etc, my grandad told me not to wish my life away. I now know what he meant. Don't mean to be maudling but it doesn't seem 2mins since the cows went off the park, they will be back anytime soon with the baby calves & it starts all over again.
In the paper yesterday there was an article about a man who had lost his labrador on Monday, due to they think picking poison up on the park, left out by mindless people to kill the foxes. This has happened before. The part of the park where most people go is not where I go, I keep away from the more public parts BUT I can assure you I will be so carefull & the girls will be well & truly on the lead for the next week at least until we see what happens.

Oh Barbara you must be worried about the girls, isn't it just dreadful how mindless, cruel people go ahead leaving poison down like that, without a second thought as to what devastation it could cause! Your dogs look to be having a great time! I think anyone that gets caught putting out poison for animals should be made to eat it themself. If they survive then go to jail for a long time, and if they dont, well it was slef inflicted stupidity.

Around here it's poison for the rats. When one township goes on the offensive against the rodents, they seem to move in to the next town. A few years ago we noticed that there didn't seem to be any squirrels around, maybe one or two. We realized that the squirrels must be eating the poison put out for rats! The scary thing is that if your dog or cat manages to kill and eat one of those rodents that's gotten into rat poison, they too will die if not treated in time. So it's a very scary time for you, for any pet owner. People are just mindless, never thinking about the consequences of what they do. The girls are having such a great time! They don't chase the cows?
