Description

always the war between detail and atmosphere. Changed lighting to a below the horizon sun shining on the moon (which is great and can be downloaded at Ashundar) and three lights on ship. It was fun but scene is too simple. Perhaps this is what you see looking out of a tower window or some such would frame it and give more interest.

I think the moon is ok as-is. Maybe play with the global illumination/ambient occlusion settings to put some detail into the water and ship?

Tweak just a tad more light on the tall ship which will then give the water just enough to present the "glow" around the ship it deserves...just a tweak though...that's all...The moon is perfect as it should look out at sea in the dark of night....the cabin lights and soft glow on the ships sail are just "tits"(slang for "perfect")...of course that's if you don't mind me saying so...(smiles)...

This version is wonderful as well! I love the lighting from the moon but I would like to see just a little bit more lighting on the sails not much just a bit.
