Day 92, Year 627. Dear Journal, It finally happened!! She noticed me! Ever since I was sold to this woman, back when I was 16, I knew she was different. She's strong and imposing, but she's nothing like Count Valmonar was, brutal and treating my parents like little more than furniture. In this place, I have my own room, and no one hits me. As our Mistress goes out to adventure every day, we all watch her go out, and then the other elves just get back to work. But I often find myself staring, watching her muscular figure walk along the stone road. Of course, whenever she's near I look down, and try not to blush. I never thought she had noticed anything, but today, when she came back home, she stopped right in front of me! My heart pounded in my chest as she extended a hand and asked me to join her for dinner! Can you imagine?! Me, an elf girl, eating with the most powerful noble in the Low Lands! What a privilege that was! I was plenty nervous, but she was so sweet and friendly, I think this might go somewhere...
