There's no compelling reason for this flashback, just that it wasn't made in early January. This was meant to be introductory because they say each other's names. At this point in time, Victoria 4 is already four years old. Michael 3 is already, let's see, seven or eight years old. I looked at some Poser comics from about five years ago and they looked pretty dated. I know that Poser style plays well here, but it doesn't play well in most other places. I don't want to have to keep explaining or justifying it. Also, pursuing a 2D style of comics would make things "future resistant." Don't get me wrong. I really like Poser and DAZ Studio stuff! This is the place for it. But, I'm going to keep practicing the 2D style as well and will show you more once I get something solid accomplished. I will continue with the 3D stuff, too, but there will probably be more "scenes" than comics. And don't worry, the "girls" aren't going away!
