Description

The world is truly and terribly broken waves crash ashore, erasing lives. Is there meaning to any of it? Why should so many have to die for the simple reason of being there? I wonder how I can sit here in my chair and do nothing but watch as the television shows images and documents so many broken lives. How is it fair that I should be alive when so many that are innocent will only live on as a memory? Why should so many have to die when I live without fear of such dangers? I wonder that so many have not come to haunt me in my sleep or as I live day by day free of the misery visited on their broken lives. In my shame I cannot help but weep when so many that are innocent will only live on as a memory. No one should have to die for the simple reason of being there. But I no longer wonder about it; When I look into my own life I know I am just as wretched as they; I am no different for I also live a broken life. I know that I have not suffered as they but I am still just as wretched and will someday live on as a memory. I will also someday die for simply being who I am. There is no reason to wonder, there is no mystery to life at all; The meaning of life is what we make of it even if all we will ever has is a broken life.

What a apocalyptic debris field! What these people have to suffer ... I think every minute of these people.

Very nice words - words of sadness and self-knowledge! We can only think of these people, provide them with our wishes and closer together. Let us share with them the little - we still have enough.

Devastation far worse than war, which is selective. But quakes and tsunamis are not selective, they take all. I pray for these poor people that God have mercy and help them recover swiftly. Thank you for your moving post.
