My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

It's good to see some good ol' German engineering and your US collaboration for this collage - the overall arrangement is quite dynamic and has lots of appeal to me ... BTW the actual German word 'Taube' translated means 'Dove' - so it's a Rumpler Dove-Dove ... LOL great effort Tara, BB

The original but original steam aircraft was built in my home town of Chard in the UK. It was unmanned and for more details search for John Stringfellow, you may be surprised!! Lovely shot Tara.

Thin cloth over thin wood latice with bicycle wheels. And that less than 100 years ago. And today we've been to the moon and fly faster than the human body can tolerate. My, how things have advanced in less than 100 years. Beautiful post work. Could be used at the museum! Keep up the good work! :-)

WOOOOOW, Tara! What a great composite you've put together here! Those old airplanes look soooo frail - you wonder how they ever got anyone to fly them.. Just amazing! And this definitely screams STEAMPUNK!! :-D Outstanding!
