Description

What with all the danger of nuclear fallout,we might fall back to this point. I don’t want to make jokes of course, but I do have to point out something wich seems important and to keep in mind: Several nations are now beginning to think to get out of the nuclear energy. But we don’t want to miss our comfort do we?. And then it wont help for example if Germany shuts down his reactors and France next door keeps his 58 plants running. Best to me is have the reactor on your terrain, if you have the reactor than you can control it for maintenance or shutdown and take the decisions and not the nation next door. (wich might not even inform you in case of problems) On the other hand china approved to build 40 nuclear plants in the next five years. It’s a delicate theme, alternate energie ?yes but step by step,I don’t think it helps taking hasty measures. Hasty measures might take you into a one way road and you cant get out anymore if unlucky. Must stay rational and work on the ones we have to make them as safe as possible-there will always be risks, you cant prevent earthquakes or tsunamis from happening, that’s the other side of the medal. We don’t want to open discussions here or political talk, after all we come here to “forget”our daily issues and problems. I had to use the incredible freebie by hellboy soto again. Thanks as well to swam and ace of hearts for the ToT eyes freebie.Gilamonster freebie RDNA. Credits:pgmeri01-underground,shadownet-bc,

Superbe scène qui illustre bien ce qui pourrait nous tomber dessus à plus ou moins long terme ... j'habite à même pas 100km d'une centrale nucléaire ... mais comme tu dis, on ne veut pas se passer du confort :-(

Japan - damn, it sucks... I really think they should pack up the island and get out, shut it down and maybe my Great Great Grand children can bring it back from all the crap that's happened to that land this last hundred years.... I hear gigar counters are being sold at alarming rates - imagine that... if that counter is going off, ya might as well kiss your a-s goodbye.

Very cool render! Some interesting thoughts, but I don't know, if its not nuking ourselves we will just find some other way to kill ourselves. At least with the nuking it can be a slow lingering agonizing death, sort of what we as a species deserve for what we do to the planet, don't you think.

Nuclear's been overall pretty safe but China building them when they still can't even mine reasonably safely is a scary proposition to me.

Nuclear energy might be fine .. but what do they do with the nuclear waste from producing nuclear energy?? There is no safe way to dispose of the nuclear waste produced from the making of nuclear energy. Now isn't that a comforting thought? So, where are we going to hide? Not underground, they bury the stuff underground. Not above ground, we're busy polluting the earth's surface with the fallout from our accidents. Not in the oceans .. seems the waters around the Nuclear plants are now showing levels of radiation .. so we are poisoning our fish, too. Oh Shut up Rita .. be done with your rant, LOL. Excellent work on this .. and good points you've raised, too.
