Part Five: Project Orion Exploration Systems
Part Six:
Project Orion Exploration Vehicle Diagram
Part Seven: Project Orion Callisto Mission
The 20-Meter Orion cutaway view project turned out to be somewhat ambitious, the two habitat interior renders came to 42 hours of render time, Sample Lab and EVA Bay brought the total render time to 48 hours.
Laboratory gear and Hab Level 1 crew seating are free items from various on-line sources.
Hab Level 1 utilizes the Divider-Screen from Ptrop’s Pilot Captain’s Quarters exported to Bryce as an OBJ.
Hab Level 2 utilizes Davo’s bunk & pillow from his SF furniture set available at DAZ.
As always, thank you all for your thoughtful comments, interest, and encouragement.

wonderful work

Excellent! I love cutaways, but they are a lot of work. Based on the symmetry of the hab section, I imagine they must move everything from the thrust down surfaces to the spin down surfaces in the interval between thrust and spin. Clever.

reminds me of the NASA concept design cutaway illustrations from the early 1970's that so fascinated me as a kid

nicely done! requires steady hand and nerves to tough out this sort of detail in Bryce. or as we used to say in the monestary.... Supoib!
