Description

*******************ZOOM for details*************** After threatening to post a more serious attempt at my new Zbrushing techniques...here it is now ! This has taken me the best part of two weeks re-learning, studying, hair-pulling with sometimes very frustrating video tutorials, as they seem to miss out on actual important details...hmmm. This blueprint is a mix of a Rhinoceros and a Triceratops. My inspiration came from the British Artist/Musician Rodney Matthews and his amazing sci-fi fantasy art. This is only part 1 of my "Drummer Project"... Cheers jif3d :o)

Excellent z-brush work! I agree the videos seem to leave out just the info you need to do the good stuff. I got so frustrated i stopped a couple of weeks ago bUt I plan to get back in. You wouldn't have a tut on this project up somewhere would you? One that included the secret info. :)

This is great! and yes, very much in the style of Rodney Mathews. How did you do the horns, did you build them as subtools out of ZSperes or is there some secret brush or something that i'm missing? I have ZBrush4 and i've been trying to sculpt a oriental dragon for ages and I just can't get the horns and spines started...any help most appreciated...Really good work *****

:O I've owned Zbrush since it was pre launch beta many years ago... managed a couple of morphs, but that's all.. This is (insert swear word) brilliant Jeff! The textures and design are terrific. Well done indeed.. ;)

Well, it seems there was some success at last - trying to figure out the blueprint for ZBrush - you are on a roll now, Jeff ... I am glad you concentrated and persevered with it ! BB I have actually witnessed the time-consuming tutorials at first hand - let me re-phrase that, not all mind you - just most of them ... sigh ! (there was not much help around the house and garden, LOL)

Okay, what is it about video tutorials that make us all want to scream. They ether go to fast or they skip importation information. Jeff you've done it! You have beaten the tutorial gods! Most excellent work Buddy!
