Description
My stepbrother is married to a Japanese American woman. My youngest cousin’s long time girlfriend was born in Japan. Both have family in Japan. Two other cousins worked at Ground Zero and escaped injury on 9/11. Today we received word that everyone in Japan is safe. Once again those close to me have been spared.
A prayer of peace for those souls that were not and for those that still suffer.
A Simple Prayer
The mind can go
in a million directions.
But on this beautiful path
I walk in peace.
With each step,
a cool breeze blows.
With each step,
a flower blooms.

I am very glad to read, that your loved ones are spared by all these dramatic events, as of late ... but I am not one to pray or preach - but having said that, I am in awe of natures display and deeply affected by all this partially men-made upheavals all around us and it scares me, when will we ever learn ? I am also glad everyone is safe. As we talked before I spent some time in the orient as well. My first thoughts were of Okinawa where I have friends it was not hurt. The losses are staggering
