Description

Fan Art showing Ares, Gabrielle and Xena. As Xena and Gabrielle rush for the next onslaught, Ares watches from the back in admiration. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Interestingly, this was done with one infinate light and I really liked the resulet. Very "illustrative" and that's what I wanted. Ares character from Jepe's Marius, Xena and Gabrielle's morphs are my own. The rest is a plethera of free and purchased items from various vendors and merchant sites. Comments welcome and encouraged ... I like hearing from y'all.

...and no doubt fantasizing on what he may be thinking about these girls' somewhat ambiguous relationship (Sororal? Sapphic? Who can really tell...?) If you were going for a "comic book" render, you've definitely succeeded. I know getting lighting can be as much of a bitch in CG as it is in live film and theater...not what render engine you used here. I work in DAZ Studio myself hand have found I get better shadows with the raytraced (software only) settings - shadows are much crisper. The downside is the render can take a v e r y l o n g t i m e to finish... I also notice your grass in the foreground is white. Was this by design? I think it works in this context (fantasy). If not (I also have this prop), you might want to look at the ambient setting - for some reason, this was set to a light color as a recall. (It happened to me.)

Hello Bard, the Comic book look was a fluke, a very happy one. the white grass was a fluke as well, thanks for the heads up on that by the way. The enviorunment from DAZ was made for an ealier version of Poser that didn't u se raytrace and therefore the ambience was treated differenty. I have all sorts of trouble with Lisa's botanicals. Wow, this is exactly the kind of feedback I love. Thank you. As for Ares' m usings ... I'm going for saphhic my slef and so is my partner. :)
