Vue 8 Complete and just a touch of photoshop A re-work of the X32 Fighter How it was done (details): I rendered the X32 over a large scaled terain which I textured to look like desert area, think about all those X- plain photos you have seen. I populated the terain with my "Cydonia Modular Sci_Fi Building Set" by painting on the buildings making sure that rotation was set to 0. Next I placed a spectral cloud layer right under the X32s and just above the ground a bit. Dialed up the sun intensity, set perspective to 9 or 10, turned on God Rays and rendered. Adjusted the image density, and gain saved, then adjusted the gain and intensity to get a darker shadow filled version. Opened in photoshop placed the dark version on top of the lighter layer, created a layer mask to bring out the bright highlights on the darker top image. Nearly no post work on it at all realy. The flames are a mesh made for the X32. Have a close up look at the new X32's skin, I like the way it turned out.
