Description

Alright, this is the major reveal post I guess. This is a concept car, invented by your's truly. It was inspired largely by the Ford GT, Pagani Zonda, and the Chrysler ME-412. Anyone familiar with those cars can probably see the influences. The Vue render didn't have obj anti aliasing on which is why it looks a bit fuzzy, but otherwise it came out good. I worked through tutorials like mad and experimented to get a good car paint in poser. I think it looks pretty good. Raytracing required of coarse. There were a few oversights on my part on designing this car, but overall I think it came out pretty good. Thanks for looking. Cheers

I'm not normally a 3d car type person... Yet I wouldn't mind test driving this car in Carrara, see how well it performs, albeit with a wee bit of required Carrara shader tuning that comes mandatory with Poser material presets (unless its poser procedurals then i just have to build a new procedural shader from scratch) ;) The design also seems to have some styling borrowed from Lamborghini... Very sleek. Looks both a blend of modern and very near future. Definitely keep up the work in the automotive design. :)

Those indentations on the doors look a lot like those on the Ford GT. I know some of the guys who were on the Ford GT design team. They said those indentations and the mechanics of getting the door windows to roll down inside the doors was one of the more challenging aspects of designing that car. Nice renders. Thanks for sharing.
