Description

I am starting to enjoy modeling- I think I had a "perfectionist block". I wanted to make perfect right from the start- and got frustrated. Then recently- I decided to start playing with the modeling tools. NOW it is FUN! I modeled these tumblers following a web tutorial- the nodes are all my own fun. I was trying for empty and with liquid. Still not entirely satisfied with the look of the empty tumbler- looking through the glass towards the top, ie at the air. It looks like there is a top-instead of air. Any suggestions?

Although it hard to notice most glass tumblers etc have a very small lip around the top edge. It's a side effect of glass being a liquid at the point it is made into stuff. It looks to me like the top of your glass might be a little to perfect as it were. But the important thing is that you are enjoying the modeling itself. It's important to want to use the tools and want to play with them. After awhile you'll be able to forget them and just build what you want.
