I found Renderosity late on in 2003 and have since become an avid viewer of the tremendous talent on display. My contribution is just pictures I've drawn, daft sketches, favorite photos (mostly of landscapes and mountain days out) and comments and laughs with other members. Thanks to all at Renderosity and to people who contribute some amazing images and ideas.

Even before I opened the image, Anthony, I knew it had to refer to 'muirburn'. This is the right time of year for it, although some farmers, at least in the 1980s tried to get away with burning in June, usually in fields next to main roads, causing great clouds of smoke, obscuring vision, and annoying local motorists. There's always something about the heather and bracken smoke which reminds me of baked-in-the-fire potatoes. The muirburn never seemed to do much damage to the all-pervasive whin / gorse. This year the gorse has burst into golden bloom a lot earlier. Warm regards, John.
