Description

The towing of the Gullfaks A platform from the buildsite in Stavanger, Norway, to the North Sea. I was lucky to follow the buildup of the oil and gas production in the North Sea in the 1970`s and 80`s as a photographer. The Gullfaks A platform began production on 22 December 1986, with Gullfaks B following on 29 February 1988 and the C platform on 4 November 1989.
