It appears to me, as if the wings of a young bird are 'clipped', and it cannot take off anymore - this is really so sad looking, the only thing missing is the barbwire ... but soon spring will change all this, with new leaves sprouting all over and new life in general. Understated and very dramatic Nikolay, BB
