Description

It has become a special day.... It would have been my mothers birthday. It's already 8 years ago she left this world. -=- Ages before that, Nostradamus wrote words about the future. Wierd how right he sometimes seems to have been.

This is a very nice dedi to your Mom on her birthday Chris, as the image you chose makes a powerful point. I am sorry for your loss, and surely she would have been proud of how thoughtful and caring her son turned out to be.

the skys of Denver looked like that before 911... there were so many restrictions, we just don't see that many planes near the city. ...I agree with what Dave said... My Mother has been gone 10 years now, so I know 8 years just doesn't seem that long... It feels like my Mom was always there through these last ten years... after my Mother passed, it feels like the family had lost it's glue to hold together - she was the life of the family get togethers - I need to get ahold of my Brother and see if he can cut me a few dvds of my Mom, I miss her voice and laughter - and if feels so odd that my Wife of 8 years never met her - but then too, her parents are both gone...What was your Mother's favorite song? go turn it on.... I guess I'll take that advice, I'm gonna go turn on the Dance by Garth Brooks.

Very lovely dedication and tribute to your mom! I like Mike's idea - play some songs that your mom liked and picture her listening to those songs

i agree my man wherever your mother is she must be proud to have a son like you. my mother had to leave the earth in 1972 i was 17,turned out wild later on,but i do hope she is a little proud of me the way i turned out after a long journey.i do my best. now lets speak about what this north african issue france knows exactly what weapons the gaddafi regime has, they sold most of it to them in the first place now a new libya will need a new army and new weapons. france is there hehehe. thats one side. on the other hand when you start shooting your people then you must go, no doubt about. and believe me even though the weapons are very precise nowadays there will be collateral damages under the civilian population. its nice to see the videogame on tv but on the ground there will be burning flesh and rotten limbs and the stank will sweep over the lands. well war is war and thats the way it goes. hope they get over it soon, should be no problem on the strategic side, libya is flat not like yougoslavia or afghanistan. here the generals have a fine playing ground.

Beautiful piece in memory, Chris. I know you miss her, and I know she looks on at you, very proud of what you accomplish. :) I am happy to hear of the no fly zone, perhaps it will slow the butcher down a bit. I wish the UN could just issue an arrest warrant because of the slaughter of his people, but that will not happen I am sure. I hope he leaves soon.
