Description

Bird bath with stagnant water in it. Scooped a jar full of water and emptied it into a four inch square aquarium. Set up my 100mm macro lens with a reversed 50mm lens coupled together. The end of the lens were about a millimetre away from the glass, just enough room for the flash to illuminate the larva and the background water. Waited for the little pests to drift into focus and fired away.
