Description

I was out capturing the Perigee Moon last evening and thought, hmmmm..... It was not as big as I expected. So I made my own moon.......out of two pictures. Hope you like it.

when I was young the moon's appearance on the horizon seemed much larger than it does now, but seems like everyone thinks things were larger when young.cool post work

Yep! Was going to say, I looked and didn't think the 'Supermoon' as the media were calling it, was anywhere near as big as I thought lol Good work.. Now.... Rob

That's more like it, but you may have just increased high tide by about 5 metres :-) An excellent night time shot even without the moon.

Great shot! I didn't have easy access to my scope, so I had to use just my Nikon & tripod! It was the best as it was just rising above the horizon! Take Care!! :)

You are so clever this is brilliant. I meant to get out to see the moon but I was too tired and fell asleep early... Nice work
