i'm sitting here watching a telethon for the humane society...
i'm a softie for animals..
almost makes me want to go get another cat...
there was a story about this poor black cat - female that had air freshner sprayed in her face, a dumbbell thrown at her..among other horrible things...she's been adopted now..but still...

Beautiful image, I like her pose. I have a hard time watching those programs that show animal abuse. It's just so sad to see these poor trusting animals treated like throw away items or worse. Makes me want to do the same to the sorry person who does that!

yeah ute sometimes comes up with reports about mistreating animals,i dont want to watch it i see enough here when the spaniards have a dog,the dog is not supposed to enter the appartment stays on the balcony for hours alone and they just go out and have fiesta. i am glad i have no weapons in my house i tell you i would already be in jail. but i am glad i can let off steam in my works otherwise i end up in balla-balla daisyland. ps i would wear the red undies.

I feel the same way about animals, Cheryl. One of my favorite commercials is about adopting abused animals, accompanied by Sarah McGlaughlin's (I think I just mangled her last name) 'In the Arms of the Angels'. Really heartbreaking.
