Description

Ok, I got Mandelbulb 3D about a week ago. It took me a while to get the directories to cooperate, and to find my way around the windows, but I'm getting a handle on it. I think I found the inner workings, and I'm trying to work out a flow chart. I think the data goes in on the botttom left....that little tube behind the big one. Then it goes into the big sphere and gets separated into x, y, and z, and gets squirted into that ring-thing..... Excellent MB work! Welcome to the ranks of MB-aholics. You will find it a program that once you get the hang of it, will make it hard to go back to your other programs (for a while). The ppossibilites are endless. If you want any parameters of any of my posts, to have a starting point from just ask. Often I have found that opening someone else's parameter has helped me learn exactly what formulas do and what changes with each adjustment. Have Fun!

Sounds like you got the thingamagiggy worked out with the whosywhotit very nicely. I'm impressed! This is your first image? I've been dying to try that program and look at you, all ready creating detailed sci-fi battle scenes. Excellent work.
