This is a wonderful image all by itself and a perfect dedication on top of it. The color and overall composition is brilliant! I love the way some of the blossoms also look like birds in flight! There are so many different ways to see this, and so many different stories you can draw out of it! That's always the mark of something brilliant, if you ask me! This is superb, and yeah, a perfect birthday dedication too! This rocks!

This is so very beautiful done, dear friend! Great mood on this, very beautiful colors, and a lovely poem too. Clever girl! Great you've done this for Mark (don't know who Mark is).

well you probably didn't expect to see me here, but I've threatened to come back and thank everyone for their dedications to me, and how could I not visit you? First off, I forgot how beautiful this image was, and how much it's you---in your way of combining images into a collage of sheer magic. You have an almost jungle-like profusion here, yet everything is so "etched": Nothing is muddled, nothing obliterates anything else, just beauty & clarity. And you have your characteristic violets mixed with greens & yellows, and punctuated by your equally characteristic black strokes---which are like calls to order in each portion of the piece. And the two faces (in two different hues) are woven seamlessly into the whole. And---bottom center---your light blues against violets against yellows, typical "cells" of activity that show up in a lot of your montages. How you put all this into one image I don't know, but it's one of your trademarks. And then the bamboo, which I remember you worked with for a while (in those beautiful Oriental brush paintings). And, speaking of Oriental, your text---nature poetry (and about love too), is also used as design: As I've said before, the ancient Orientals would've approved, as it's very organic & Oriental. It's another of your wonderful montages, it bursts with light & hue, and it's 100% helle. It's beautiful; and your support for me through that whole dark time & through all the other things I've been through since meeting you here, has been like the Rock of Gibraltar---except that the Rock of Gibraltar is hard & you're not, and frankly the Rock should thank me for the comparison. (I'll check my email...) You've been just wonderful, Helle, and this image is just one example of your heart, love & spirit. Thank you for always making me feel this way, and for everything you've given me through these months & years: This was a day I felt like lead & darkness (my birthday), and I thank you deeply for giving me so much light & beauty in its place.
