This pic i took from on Steeperton tor, the Army Hut is another that we used to go into for Shelter,I did remember last Saturday to check if the Army was firing,because if the Red Flag was flying you wouldn't be allowed to on the Ranges,

We ahve the same system on the Lulworth ranges. You should have a week walking there.

'The Red Flag'...what are the Russians doing on our moors?..... You make a serious and useful point of course, always heed the 'Red Flag'..that and the sound of heavy artillary and machinegun fire..... Would this be ON the range or a perimeter marker?....
