...A peine Jonathan Jones eut-il touché la Sphère d'Emeraude que celle-ci s'illumina et perdit de sa consistance, semblant se transformer en une boule de lumière verte...Un instant plus tard, elle éclata ! Sans bruit et comme au ralenti ; comme si la gravité n'existait plus...et les éclats de lumière smaragdine révélèrent alors une source de lumière blanche, à la fois intense et douce au regard...Et Jonathan Jones sut alors immédiatement que cette Lumière était vivante !!...
