Description
Just a lighting study I did a while back. Innocence seemed like an appropriate title.
Libya today perhaps? Or Korea in the 50s? Or Vietnam in the 60s? Or Cambodia in the 70s? Or Afghanistan in the 80s? Or Bosnia in the 90s? Maybe Iraq? Or my living room tomorrow?
Seems we lost something along the way. It's sad.
Peace.

Excellent scene and render! I'm afraid a time without wars lie far away in the future - but we can hope...!

man so true of words. sadly everyone seems to follow his own agenda power and greed. the most important to me would be to give the people the opportunity to stay in their lands with having a perspective instead of fleeing. and food and most important education to keep em away from the ratcatchers and brainwashers.

wonderful image Chuck. And yes, our innocence was lost long ago. Having young children really brings that home

Quite a sad image, it also reminded me of that horrible but iconic B&W image of a child running while being bombed and chaos going on around her. An amazing work, a realistic portrayal of what is really going on.

This kicks butt in so many ways..... A powerful and moving image. We've lost much along the road... The lighting is beyond perfect, and the detail is incredible! My hat's off to you, Bro!

If that's your living room tomorrow, that'll be one hell of a party, that's for sure. I wonder if we were ever truly innocent, since our entire history is full of violence. All we've really done is make a better rock and increase the scale.

Poignant!

A hard theme and a beautifully executed image. At least Libya hasn't become another Ruanda, yet.... Mind you, there's a couple of dozen more regimes that could precipitate this kind of mess, though I hope your living room isn't close to one of them!

Excellent work, war is always so tragic. You would think by now humans would have found a more intelligent way to resolve their differences.
